Documented museum-quality Taiwanese lacquer art by the lineage of Lai Kao-shan. Found in a vintage storage unit, new with tag (original bag was dirty and not included). Features 'Guri Lacquer' / 'Tsuishu' layered lacquerware ('T-Stone'). Crafted by Lai Kao-shan, celebrated Taiwanese artisan who modernized traditional Dui Zhu carved lacquer techniques by layering vibrant colors of natural lacquer carved at sharp angles for a gemstone finish. Set includes both matching unique shaped brooches (one more red).
