Offered is a beautiful, hand-crafted ceramic clown sculpture from the renowned Guzman studio in Colombia (c. 1980s). This larger-format piece measures approximately 7" long, 6 in wide, and 6.5" tall, featuring a rare and charming reclining pose. What sets this Guzman piece apart is the exceptionally expressive face; the hand-painted eyes and features give this hobo clown a gentle, lifelike personality. As a "Hecho a Mano" (Handmade) original, it possesses the weight and textural detail found only in authentic artisan pottery. Condition: Very Good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a tiny surface scuff on the hand that does not detract from the display beauty. Signed "Guzman" on the base with "Colombia S.A." and "Hecho a Mano" engravings.
