Rare Victorian Chatelaine Tussie Mussie (Posy Holder), c. 1880–1900. Beautiful gilt brass example featuring ornate openwork, cherub decoration, and a desirable gimbaled flower holder that keeps the bouquet upright while worn. Complete with its original chatelaine clip and safety chain. The tussie mussie measures approximately 4 inches, the chatelaine clip measures about 2–2.25 inches, and the chain measures 24 inches. A wonderful collector’s piece and a beautiful example of Victorian functional jewelry.
