Dating to the 1980s, this brooch comes from a period when Stein created handmade jewelry incorporating ceramic, metallic gold, and other materials and sold her work at California craft fairs. This striking piece highlights her exploration of freeform construction, contrasting surfaces, and bold sculptural presence.
