The 1972 P & D Mint Set contains 11 uncirculated business-strike coins from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. It typically includes two sets of the cent, nickel, dime, quarter, and half-dollar, plus an additional San Francisco-minted penny. Sets generally sell on the secondary market for roughly $8 to $15. The 1972-PDS Mint Set had a then-record mintage of 2750000 sets. (Doesn't this nearly perfectly rounded number seem awfully suspicious? That is probably why two of the Cents are slightly off center struck, but very noticeable.
