Beautiful vintage Japanese Musha Ningyo (Warrior Doll) featuring a young samurai dressed in richly detailed silk brocade robes with ornate armor, decorative cords, and traditional accessories. These dolls were handcrafted in Japan as display pieces for Children's Day (formerly Boys' Day / Tango no Sekku) and are highly collectible examples of Japanese folk art. This example stands approximately 10 inches tall on its original 10-inch display base. It retains vibrant fabrics, a finely hand-painted face, and intricate armor details that display beautifully. Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The display base has edge wear and areas of paper loss, as shown in the photos.
