Lot of 4 original vintage color photographs believed taken in the Jagalchi/Nampo harbor and market area of Busan, South Korea, then commonly spelled Pusan, circa 1970s. Three photographs show the busy waterfront with fishing and commercial vessels, dockside crowds, bicycles, workers cleaning or sorting goods at the water's edge, and mountainous city scenery. The fourth is an especially unusual traditional market photograph showing a pork butcher's stall with a displayed pig's head, cuts of meat in bowls, large cooking vessels, baskets, and earthenware jars. Each rounded-corner photograph measures approximately 4.875 x 3.5 inches. From an album acquired at a Douglasville, Georgia estate associated with Patricia J. Harrington. Surviving Army & Air Force Exchange Service photo-lab paperwork connects the collection with the 51st Composite Wing at Osan Air Base. Exact locations, photographer, and date are not marked. Identification is based upon the harbor geography, market subject matter, and surrounding album context.
