Beautiful late Victorian sterling silver oval locket dating to approximately 1880–1900. Features an ornate repoussé scroll and floral design with a blank center cartouche, retaining its rich antique patina. The interior is gold-washed (gilt) and includes both original glass photo covers and the original pearl-headed retaining pins—a feature often missing on antique lockets. A wonderful piece for collectors of Victorian jewelry, mourning jewelry, or antique photo lockets.
