Early-production Kit Kittredge doll from the historical American Girl line. This is a highly sought-after transitional doll dating from approximately 2000–2003, featuring the best of both eras for collectors: the original "Pleasant Company" neck stamp combined with the newer, high-quality Mattel satin body tags. She still retains her original white cloth neck strings (not a plastic zip-tie!). Doll Condition: Hair: Original, blunt-cut pre-BeForever blonde bob wig. The wig is in great shape and holds its classic shape nicely. Body & Vinyl: Clean cloth torso. Tight limbs—she easily stands on her own. There is a tiny, faint dark dot on her left thumb (visible in photos), but her face paint and freckles are absolutely gorgeous. Neck Strings: Original, long, uncut white cloth strings.
