A beautiful antique Chinese Export Rose Medallion porcelain chocolate pot with its original lid, richly hand-painted in the classic famille rose palette. This elegant 10” piece features alternating court scenes, birds, fruit, and lush floral decoration with vibrant enamels and hand-applied gilt accents. The domed lid showcases a figural scene, while the base bears an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark, a traditional mark commonly found on quality export porcelain from the late Qing to early Republic period. Very good antique condition. No cracks or repairs noted. Light age-related wear to the gilt and minor expected wear from age and use. Original lid included.
