This antique oval au gratin bowl was manufactured by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) of East Liverpool, Ohio. Based on its design and material, it is a Victorian-era wash basin, typically produced between 1890 and 1910.Identification & HistoryMaker: Knowles, Taylor & Knowles (KT&K) was once the largest pottery manufacturer in the United States.Material: It is likely Semi-Vitreous (S-V) China or "White Granite," a durable semi-porcelain stained and crazed.
