The "Ideal" Waterman gold fountain and ballpoint pens are vintage collectible pens crafted with 18K gold over sterling silver. Each of the pens has textured pinstripes on the gold with bold black lacquer & gold trim. The nib of the fountain pen is marked "Waterman 18K 750"& both pens have the Waterman "W" logo on the pocket clip. This set is from 1990 & comes with the "Worldwide Guarantee" card from time of its purchase, which was made in 1990 at Penfriend (London) Ltd, validating the authenticity of the set. The nib of the fountain pen is also crafted from 18k over 750 silver. Both pens need new ink cartridges or refills. The "Ideal" Waterman pens is named after Waterman's original name “The Ideal Pen Company." Manufactured in Paris, France. CONDITION Some small wear for its age, barely noticeable scratches and surface marks. Case in perfect condition. Box & "Waterman Guarantee" booklet have some wear around the edges. See photos.
