Antique Edwardian Framed Print - "Home Again" (The Sailor's Return)Up for auction is a beautiful, highly dramatic turn-of-the-century narrative art print titled "Home Again", based on the famous painting by Toby Edward Rosenthal. The black-and-white / sepia composition depicts an emotional homecoming scene of a young maritime sailor boy being welcomed back by his family at the dinner table. The back features original wood construction, primitive finishing nails, and a secure, hand-twisted hanging wire ready for display. The original black paper backing is heavily torn and flaking due to age. There are minor vintage water spots on the protective backing cardboard, but these are strictly on the reverse side and have not seeped through to the front artwork.
