Beautiful vintage mid-century Japanese lusterware demitasse cups and matching saucers, featuring a vibrant green iridescent finish and a classic Victorian/Romance courting scene motif. The undersides bear the vintage "M.J. JAPAN" export backstamp inside a diamond border, dating these pieces between the 1930s and 1950s. Fine porcelain with an iridescent luster glaze. Romantic/Victorian courting scene with gold filigree accents. Made in Japan (M.J. Diamond Mark).
