Product Details

Approx. 9.75” diameter. The plate displays heavy staining and crazing across its surface making highly collectible and sought after. Origin: Burslem, Staffordshire, England. Era: Roughly 1851 to 1900. Anthony Shaw was a highly prolific 19th-century manufacturer of utilitarian granite-ware, creamware, and ironstone. He is widely credited as the first English potter to register and popularize the iconic "Tea Leaf" copper lustre motif in 1856.
