Donate to beyond survival, a sexual assault victims/survivor advocacy, nonprofit organization. Mission: support, educate, and empower all people impacted by sexual abuse. Survivors are supported, regardless of age, identity, background, or circumstance. Statistics: in this last year beyond survival has already conducted 127 new intakes, 96 of them were for youth under the age of 18 in Grays Harbor County. They answered 340 crisis calls after hours. They responded to 22 hospital calls. Nearly every minute someone in the US is sexually assaulted. Every nine minutes that someone is a child. Of sexual abuse cases reported to law-enforcement 93% of juvenile victims knew the perpetrator: 59% were acquaintances, 34% were family members. and only 7% were strangers to the victim. Without the help of beyond survival and programs as such imagine, how many would go without help and how many voices would go left unheard.
