It is in well-used, unpolished vintage condition: the original plating has worn down to a raw brass patina, and the bite plate area shows significant heavy wear, deep teeth marks, and dark oxidation residue. This legendary vintage 1940s Bob Dukoff Hollywood "B.D." metal alto saxophone mouthpiece features the iconic script-engraved "B.D." on the body along with the crisp "Bob Dukoff HOLLYWOOD" stamp around the lower shank. The side is stamped with the serial number B118, while the opposite side displays a distinct, highly desirable factory "4*" tip-opening stamp. Structurally, the rails, table, and tip appear straight and intact, preserving the original geometry of this classic jazz piece. *Cross-posted to other sites.
