A stunning piece of 1950s/1960s California Pottery with a secret! Under normal lighting, this is an elegant, glossy white sculptural 5-petal flower dish by Belmar of California (Mold #701). When you hit it with a 365nm UV light, the entire glaze reacts with an absolute wow-factor, fluorescing into a brilliant pinkish-orange/peach glow! Marked "belmar calif 701 usa" on the bottom. Very good vintage condition with zero cracks and only one mature shallow chip on tip of petal.
