DESCRIPTION: Dramatic 1940s-era red wool dress with pure Old Hollywood siren energy. Long fitted sleeves, sculpted bodice, sharply nipped waist and an incredible pointed basque/V waist dropping into a full gathered long skirt. Center-back metal Talon zipper. This is an old survivor and has been highly mended/restored after numerous holes. Repairs and evidence of age/wear remain throughout; please view photos closely. Sold as wearable vintage with substantial restoration, not pristine vintage. The repairs give it wonderful history and character. Fabric appears to be wool. Unlabeled.
