Beautiful vintage McCoy pottery teapot finished in an eye-catching 22-karat gold drip glaze. The heavily textured metallic gold surface creates an abstract, almost molten appearance, with variations between highly reflective gold and softer matte-gold areas. The teapot has a substantial rounded body, squared handle, pronounced spout, and matching fitted lid with a round knob. The underside carries the McCoy mark, and the cream-colored ceramic can be seen on the unglazed foot and interior. This dramatic gold-finished McCoy piece has a wonderful Mid-Century vintage look and displays beautifully.
