Ceramic tiles feature blue and white illustrations depicting 17th-century apothecary scenes and heraldic crests. This set of six tiles is part of a limited edition series. All tiles have a hanging wire on the back. Some of the tiles on the reverse side of the tiles contain historical information about the science of pharmacy and the specific scene depicted. The tiles are marked with the Delft Holland stamp.
