Product Details

Gorgeous coral rose carved necklace with brass filigree detailing. Approx 16” necklace with 2.5” pendant drop. Pendant is a little over 2.5” across. Absolutely stunning!! Good vintage condition. Celluloid, one of the first synthetic plastics, was widely used in jewelry making from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. It was favored for its ability to be molded, carved, and dyed to imitate more expensive materials like ivory, coral, or tortoiseshell, making decorative jewelry accessible to a broader market.
