Beautiful vintage hand-painted Italian majolica espresso/demitasse cup with matching saucer, made by Caber-Siena, Italy. The colorful orange, white and blue design features the unicorn crest of the Contrada del Leocorno, one of the 17 historic districts represented in the famous Palio di Siena horse race. Both pieces are marked “LEOCORNO – CABER-SIENA – ITALY” on the underside. CONDITION: Very good pre-owned condition with light age-related wear. No chips or cracks observed.
