Antique 1914 Valentine's Day Postcard – Young Boy with Basket of Violets ============= An authentic early 20th-century antique Valentine's Day postcard featuring a color illustration of a young boy in a blue velvet outfit carrying a large bouquet and basket of purple violets. The front reads "To my Valentine" in script. Publisher / Origin: Marked "Post Card" on back; stamped with a green 1-cent George Washington U.S. Postage stamp. Postmark: Lake Geneva, WIS., dated February 11, 1914. Addressee: Hand-addressed to Master Harold Bethmann, Wentworth, So. Dak. Message: Handwritten message in ink signed "Lovingly, Aunt Anna". Condition: Good vintage condition with expected light edge wear, slight corner bumping, and age toning typical of a 100+ year-old paper collectible. Ephemera Drawer 3
