This is a large and impressive serving platter, measuring approximately 15” wide x 12” high. Would make an awesome statement piece for hutch display, as part of a plate wall or making it or for use as traditional tableware. The transfer print is richly detailed in deep cobalt blue, featuring traditional pagoda landscapes, bridges, birds, and intricate border work characteristic of 19th-century Staffordshire ceramics. Backstamp says “ STAFFORDSHIRE Stone China” There is a mature chip on bottom left rim and some minor utensil scratches in plate center. We consider the platter to be in good antique condition commensurate with its age. Will ship on its own due to size and safe packaging.
