You are buying 2 pcs - 10x8mm Carneol Cameos I opened a full 1 Gross (144 pcs) envelope marked: Made in Western Germany / Jewels / No. 163 / carneol These are the real deal - pre-1990 Gablonz-area factory stock. What they are: Material: Molded Acrylic / Lucite - the famous "unbreakable jewels" that West German factories switched to in the 60s-80s. NOT glass, NOT modern resin. Warm, lightweight, super durable. Size: 10mm x 8mm oval - dainty size perfect for rings, studs, charm bracelets, rosaries Color: Carneol - deep translucent carnelian red with crisp white relief Pattern: No. 163 - classic left-facing lady with chignon Condition: Unused, unmounted, fresh from the original jeweler's envelope Why acrylic? The Gablonz factories marketed these as the upgrade - you get the look of carnelian glass cameos but they don't chip or crack when you're setting them. That's why jobbers bought them by the gross. This is deadstock - once my 144 are gone, I can't restock this pattern.
