Elegant vintage Rosenthal R.C. Pompadour porcelain platter featuring a detailed blue-and-white Dutch landscape with a windmill, horse-drawn cart, roadway, buildings, and water. 12” handle to handle The platter has an ornate Rococo-style form with scalloped molding, raised scrollwork, and decorative side handles. The underside is marked with the Rosenthal crown and R.C. Pompadour mark. A separate faint blue monogram appears to include the initials “H.C.” and may represent a decorator, workshop, retailer, or importer mark. Likely early-to-mid-20th-century vintage European porcelain.
