The pendant is engraved with a stylized Mesoamerican/Mayan-style sun or ceremonial face motif and framed in gold-tone metal. The necklace is constructed with individually linked irregular stone beads, including elongated carved beads that give it a wonderfully handmade, earthy bohemian appearance. Finished with a simple hook closure. The reverse of the pendant is smooth and uncarved. Wonderful vintage statement piece with natural variations in color, pattern and shape throughout the stone.
