Lightweight horticultural vermiculite for propagation, seed starting, houseplant substrates, and custom potting mixes. Vermiculite helps hold moisture and nutrients while keeping the growing medium light and workable. It can be used alone for certain propagation methods or blended with coco coir, peat, bark, perlite, and other substrate ingredients. Medium vermiculite has a smaller particle size and works well for seed starting, fine propagation mixes, and blends that need more even moisture retention. Coarse vermiculite has a larger particle size and adds moisture retention while maintaining more space and structure in chunky plant substrates. This is PVP horticultural vermiculite purchased in bulk and portioned and repackaged by Mom’s Got the Goods. It is not sold in the original manufacturer bag. Particle size naturally varies, and some fine material or dust may be present. Portions are measured by loose volume and may settle during shipping.
