Beautiful vintage German blown-glass Christmas ornament featuring an elaborate grape and vineyard design. Deep purple grape clusters and rich green leaves surround a molded burgundy and cream trellis or arbor with amber-colored inset panels. Iridescent glitter accents decorate the architectural details and base. The ornament has a highly dimensional molded form and is decorated on multiple sides, making it especially attractive when displayed on a tree. The metal cap appears marked Germany. Based on the construction, finish and decorative style, this piece is estimated to date from approximately the 1980s–1990s.
