Beautiful pastoral landscape print showing a wooded riverbank with a figure and cart along a country road. The lower-left signature appears to read “J. F. Cropsey,” referring to American landscape painter Jasper Francis Cropsey (1823–1900), a Hudson River School artist. This appears to be a vintage reproduction/print rather than an original painting, housed in an older gold-tone textured frame. The aged frame, backing, and warm colors give it a wonderful traditional cottage or primitive look.
