Beautiful pink opalescent glass basket identified as Fenton Art Glass, featuring a deep spiral/fine rib swirl body, softly shaded white-to-pink opalescent glass, and a wide crimped ruffled rim. The basket has a smooth applied arch handle with textured attachment pads and a molded starburst/pinwheel design on the underside of the base. Bottom only features the molded starburst/pinwheel ring pattern without an oval logo. Fenton did not begin molding the oval logo on their glass bottom until 1970. The French Opalescent Pink / Spiral Swirl line was prominent in Fenton's mid-century catalog throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Approx.
