Vintage circa 1910s–1930s pair of solid turned-wood Indian exercise clubs, featuring elongated handles, bulbous weighted ends and rounded grip knobs. Indian clubs were once commonly used in schools, gymnasiums and physical-culture programs for rhythmic swinging exercises that developed upper-body strength and flexibility. Both retain a warm aged wood finish with visible surface wear and scratches consistent with years of use and storage. Wonderful pieces of early fitness and sporting history.
