Vintage Ernst Heinrichsen Nürnberg “Gesellenstechen 1446” Tin Flat Figure Collection – Circa 1959 Offered here is a substantial vintage collection of **Ernst Heinrichsen Nürnberg tin flat figures** depicting the historic **“Gesellenstechen 1446”**, a famous tournament held in Nuremberg, Germany. The figures have been specifically identified through correspondence with **Berliner Zinnfiguren** as the Heinrichsen **“Gesellenstechen 1446”** set. According to Berliner Zinnfiguren, the participants represented prominent and wealthy Nuremberg merchant families known as the **Patrizier (Patricians)**. Berliner Zinnfiguren specifically noted that the quality of these particular castings does not appear to be especially high. Figures additionally show age-related wear and may have oxidation, tarnishing, casting imperfections, bends, detached or damaged weapons/lances, missing small elements and other imperfections.
