This antique red transferware W & C Palm Hanley ironstone pitcher features a scenic cartouche with a flying bird and a rustic cottage, characteristic of late 19th-century English or European sanitary and wash set ceramics.Design: Red or pinkish-crimson transfer-printed pastoral landscape and flying bird motif paired with geometric and floral patterned bands on the collar.Material: Cream-colored glazed ironstone or earthenware typical of the Victorian Aesthetic Movement era (circa 1880–1900).Function: Originally crafted as a smaller water pitcher 6.5" tall.
