Product Details

Step Back in time with this RARE and highly collectible authentic vintage 1950s needlepoint handbag by Mardor. This exquisite statement purse features a beautifully detailed, hand-stitched country cottage scene nestled in a lush landscape, elegantly framed by vibrant pink and red roses. The highlight of this mid-century piece is its signature, thick, chunky butterscotch Bakelite frame and matching translucent link chain handle. A stunning find for vintage collectors! Has a thick structural frame and snap closure. Pre-owned vintage. Please review all photos carefully for overall condition, fabric wear and hardware functionality. This piece does have slight pen marks inside the bag, as shown in pictures. One of the metal pins on one end very slightly slides out a tiny bit when opened, as this is a vintage piece and fragile. The pin can be pushed back in if needed.
