Vintage Reed & Barton Silver Soldered 2800 2P lidded pitcher, dating approximately to the 1930s–1940s. A wonderful example of Reed & Barton’s substantial commercial silverplate hollowware made for hotel, restaurant and institutional service. Features a tall cylindrical body, hinged lid with finial, graceful loop handle and pronounced pouring spout. Marked: REED & BARTON SILVER SOLDERED 2800 2P Additional “38” marking is present beneath the hinged lid. Approx. 6½” tall. This is silverplate / silver-soldered commercial hollowware, not sterling silver. Pre-owned antique/vintage condition with age-appropriate tarnish, patina, surface scratches, spotting, plating wear and interior discoloration consistent with its age and original utilitarian use.
