Czechoslovakian gilt metal, multicoloured paste and faceted glass drop necklace, c.1920s–1930s. Marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA to clasp ring. The drop section is attached to a fine gilt metal chain and features a bow which is studded with various coloured paste stones (all present). Suspended from the bow is a large, asymmetrical faceted crystal-glass drop with a subtle rainbow/iris effect, displaying flashes of blue, violet, pink, green and pale amber depending on the angle of the light. This little necklace is something very special and perfect for collectors of antique Czech costume jewellery.
