Vintage Federal Glass Company Pioneer / Fruit pattern large serving platter or chop plate in smoky gray iridescent glass. Features a beautiful molded fruit motif with grapes, pears and leaves in the center, surrounded by dramatic geometric star and fan designs and a scalloped sawtooth rim. The iridescent finish produces gorgeous flashes of purple, blue, green, pink and gold as the light changes. Mid-century Federal Glass, generally dating to the 1950s. A beautiful display piece for Federal Glass, vintage iridescent glass or carnival-style glass collectors.
