The stone has a beautiful older yellow-amber base color with fiery flashes of orange, blue, lavender and purple that shift dramatically in the light. Earlier Dragon’s Breath stones are known for their warmer yellow-to-amber coloration, with the more yellow examples generally associated with earlier production. The sterling silver has developed a wonderful dark natural patina that I have left untouched. The reverse is marked STERLING and has also been acid tested to confirm sterling silver content.
