Vintage Fostoria Glass Company #5298 water goblet, featuring an optic green glass bowl paired with a clear crystal stem and foot. Measures approximately 8¼ inches tall, corresponding to Fostoria’s full-size water goblet. The green bowl displays an extremely strong bright-green fluorescence under UV light, consistent with uranium glass. The clear stem and foot remain essentially clear under UV, creating a striking two-tone glow. Fostoria introduced this elegant stemware family around 1928. The distinctive design features an optic bowl, molded petal-like treatment beneath the bowl, geometric knop and long faceted clear stem. Beautiful example of late-1920s/1930s American Elegant Glass and an excellent crossover piece for Fostoria and uranium-glass collectors. It does have a small flea bite on the rim as pictured
