Antique divided back postcard titled "A Dog-gon' Shame" featuring a charming domestic scene of a woman reading while a dog interacts with a baby in a bassinet. This original lithograph card was mailed from Detroit, Michigan, on September 19, 1904, and includes a green one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. The reverse side contains a handwritten message in cursive addressed to Greencastle, Indiana. A wonderful piece of early 20th-century ephemera for collectors of canine, nursery, or Detroit postal history.
