STUNNING, highly collectible piece of Native American art history: an authentic, vintage Navajo multi-stone inlay necklace crafted by the world-renowned, award-winning silversmith Jerry Roan (1919–1977). He was a was a master Navajo silversmith who individually shaped, soldered, and designed his jewelry pieces. His work is displayed at the Smithsonian. This museum-quality statement piece features Roan's iconic "Night Sky" and "Pueblo" motifs. Left Wing: A serene, detailed pueblo village set against a dark starry sky, featuring a luminous inlaid moon and planetary accents.• Right Wing: Vibrant, abstract geometric streaks mimicking a desert shooting star or a colorful canyon sunset.• Centerpiece: A polished, natural white shell/opal shard or animal tooth eagle elegantly wrapped in twisted sterling silver rope wire.• The wings articulate perfectly.
