1887 Great Britain Silver Shilling featuring Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Head, introduced to commemorate the 50th year of her reign. Struck at the London Mint in 92.5% sterling silver, weighing 5.66g with 0.1683 troy oz of silver. Designed by Joseph Edgar Boehm and Leonard C. Wyon. Its Mintage is only: 1,300 total. PCGS certified Genuine – AU Details. A historically notable Victorian issue from the short-lived Jubilee Head design, which was replaced after only six years due to criticism of the portrait and crown.
