1917 Canadian 50 Cents struck at the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa with a mintage of 752,213. Struck in 92.5% sterling silver, it weighs 11.62g and contains 0.3456 troy oz of silver. Features King George V on the obverse and Canada’s crowned coat of arms surrounded by maple leaves on the reverse. Part of the short eight-date George V half-dollar series, this coin offers collectors an accessible piece of early Canadian silver from the First World War era.
