Lot of 3 antique/vintage Tuxedo Tobacco tins spanning several early package styles. Includes an early circa 1905-1915 Patterson's Tuxedo curved pocket tin marked The American Tobacco Co., Successor with bottom striker; a later Fresh Tuxedo rectangular pocket tin with remnants of its original tax stamp; and a 5-inch round Fresh Tuxedo vacuum-packed canister. Classic green and gold lithographed advertising features tuxedoed gentleman, pipe and cigarette imagery. Early curved Patterson's tin has heavy oxidation, darkening, scratches, paint loss, surface wear and deterioration along one side, but retains its curved form, hinged lid, graphics and ribbed bottom striker. Rectangular Fresh Tuxedo tin has stronger green and gold graphics with scratches, oxidation, lid wear, edge wear and remnants of an original tax stamp. Round canister retains attractive graphics with scattered scratches, oxidation and paint loss. See pictures for further details on condition.
