This is a nice vintage copy of Sacred Chimes, a gospel convention songbook, commonly used in traditional Church of God and regional singing conventions. It was published as an annual or periodic softcover collection of shape-note gospel hymns and choir tunes. These shape-note songbooks hold nostalgic value for collectors of southern gospel history or individuals with roots in the Church of God. The condition on this copy is average, or good, overall. It has very mild water staining on the back cover that only affected the cover and the last 3 pages. The rest of the book just has typical wear from use for a book that was printed in 1968.
