Clark, Gruber & Co. was a famous 19th-century private banking, brokerage, and gold-coin-minting firm established by brothers Austin and Milton Clark alongside Emmanuel Gruber. Originating in Leavenworth, Kansas, the company opened a branch in Denver, Colorado, to service the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. Surviving coins are highly sought after due to their scarcity. Numbers are not entirely known but there was only around 200 surviving $5 golds. Very very few in high grades.
