A charming vintage salt cellar featuring a hen perched on a nest, rendered in rich amethyst purple glass. This unsigned piece is attributed to Degenhart Glass and dates to their early production period (1966–1972), before the studio began stamping their logo on pieces. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The color varies based on the lighting. It can look light purple and then more a purple wine hue.
