Product Details

Antique H. Wehinger & Co. porcelain fruit bowl, produced in Horn bei Elbogen, Bohemia, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, circa 1905–1918. This elegant shallow bowl features a wide, gently scalloped rim and a low footed base, decorated with delicate purple floral sprays accented by fine gilt foliage and a gold-trimmed edge. The design reflects the refined Rococo-inspired aesthetic typical of early 20th-century Austrian-Bohemian export porcelain, with a light, airy composition intended for individual fruit, berries, or dessert service. ‼️ the 3 in this listing have hairline crack. Please see photo. The underside bears handwritten production or decorator numbers consistent with H. Wehinger & Co. workshop practice of the period. Measures approximately 5.5 inches in diameter. Antique condition with light age-related wear to the gilding, consistent with use and age. A charming and well-preserved example of early 20th-century Austrian-Bohemian porcelain tableware.
